I have been taught by Mick for at least 3 years now. Mick is a great drum teacher. He is really enthusiastic and helpful. He explains things well and is very patient. Because he comes to you, its a lot more convenient and you are more comfortable using your own drum kit because you are used to it. I'd really recommend Mick as a drum teacher.

"Mark: Mick has been my drum teacher for a couple of years now. My previous teachers were good, but Mick is the best! And because he comes to our house it saves me loads of time and I can have my lessons on my own kit! I recently joined a new band and had to learn loads of songs in less than a week for a gig, so I was in a bit of a panic - but Mick was brilliant, helping me with the harder ones, telling me to enjoy it etc. The gig went really well! Mic was a good drum teacher, giving advice on technique to improve drumming quality and speed as well as asking what i would like to do. We worked through songs and the different beats and fills without exhausting you and the songs. Playing to music and any requests were no problem, it was also possible to take music home to play along to in your own time. Mic is an all round great teacher catering for all needs.

Mic was by far the best of several drum teachers I had. His approach to teaching struck an excellent balance between the learning of theory/technique and actual music, and the lessons are tailored to the particular tastes of the student. I made a lot of progress in comparatively little time and fully recommend Mic as a thoroughly pleasant and effective drum teacher!

Mic is a great drum teacher who takes the students best interest into great consideration when teaching them. Whether you like rock, jazz or whatever, he'll concentrate on improving you on anything you need to take you to the next level.
